Mithr!!

Friend...

Now what do you mean by that word? We all know the saying that goes: 'A friend in need is a friend indeed', but do we understand the real meaning in it?
A friend is someone who you can talk to, who you can give in to. It is only in friendship that you cannot find a 'give and take' policy. Why? Why is this friend so special? Why is that one person the one you feel comfortable with? Why is it that only with that person can you be so free and open about anything and everything under the sky, which you cannot be even with your parents? Simple, 'cos he's your friend. You don't expect anything from him, yet he gives you a lot. Your friend need not understand you when you are sober or happy... Any monkey and donkey can do that... But a friend alone can give you a piece of his mind so that you have a peace of your mind.
So, now, who is a friend? He's not your supporter when your need support, he's not a counselor when your done with your life, he's not your better-half to understand your pain, but he's someone who can do all this and more than that.
Just list your friends and look at what they have done for you. There might be a lot of things that they would've done, but try figuring out why they did that and how it all started? You'll know who's your friend!

If I'm here now, in this place and position of my life, a greater part goes to my friend.

Of course it is your parents who show the path, but it is your friend who taught you lessons and still does it, that you are here. Everything that your doing to run the show of your life and the way your life is running, is because of your friend. Good or bad, he's always there. As a special person of mine always says, physically present or virtually, he's always there for you, and makes your show run to packed houses.

Feel great to write so much of stupid words about a friend through a blog, which is my first, please welcome me into the blogging world and encourage me to write more stupid words on everything possible.

Hare Krishna,
Chethan G Satheesh.
